Join Broadway Gallery at Portland State University for an artist talk by Megan Hanley, winner of the 2017 Andries Deinum Prize for Visionaries and Provocateurs. The In/Habitable exhibit is a collaboration with the Center for Life in Extreme Environments (CLEE) at Portland State University that urges engagement with art, philosophy, and science. The talk will include presentations by two PSU biologists who study life in extreme environments: master's candidate Emily St. John, who will speak about "Life in a Cooking Pot: Microbial Communities," and research assistant Ignacio de la Higuera, who will present "Omnis virus e virus."
