Artist Talk: Hector Hernandez

Join the Portland Art Museum for an artist talk with Hector Hernandez. Hernandez holds degrees in social anthropology, fine arts, and art and education. He began mural painting in Mexico City under Arnold Belkin, and his community murals and public art continue to follow the teachings of the Mexican school of painting. Subjects and themes of his work include social and cultural change, immigration, and cultural interactions and dynamics.
