Angennette Escobar & Monica Mitchell - Quiet Migrations
In their new multimedia installation Quiet Migrations, Angennette Escobar and Monica Mitchell collaborate to explore the boundaries that define identity, place, and freedom. The exhibition is accompanied by a new composition by sound-artist Jason Kowalski. Contextualizing the complex interactions between our sense of self and the locations we inhabit, Escobar and Mitchell find analogous moments between human and non-human worlds that elucidate the forced artifice of political narratives.
